I had a mc on June 4th. We're not sure why as we already have children, but I now have lupus & worry that may be a factor. I have 7 days to af, but am fairly certain I'm pregnant again. The waiting is killing me! It's hard to relax and remain stress free with all the unknowns.

I'm curious (don't know a whole lot about lupus but had some recent testing that led me to research a little) do you have to take blood thinners at all for your lupus? I just wondered because my doc suggested I start taking aspirin if I get pregnant again due to slightly abnormal lupus anticoagulant levels (again, I don't know if that's quite the same as lupus itself). She said it can help prevent m/c due to the lupus anticoagulant until beginning heparin injections (if needed). Something about blood clots attaching to the placenta when it forms, causing m/c around 7-9 wks, which is when mine have happened. If you're not already taking something, you might ask your doc about this if you are pregnant again? Hope for wonderful news!
