Clapping or waving?

What's normal now? Mine doesn't to either, just wondering what milestones people are hitting.

My boy will be 9 months on the 30th and he is doing both.

We aren't doing either yet. He loves watching me do it, and loves when I show his hands what to do. But just hasn't figured out how to do it on his own.

My twins have been clapping for several weeks but no waving.

ETA: 9 months as of the 25th.

My daughter born dec 1 is pointing at things, waving and clapping. She just started doing them randomly. Wait a bit you might wake up tomorrow and your LO will surprise you

DD2 is 10 months old and isn't doing either yet. I remember it took my first almost a year to do both but she was walking by 9 months. Some babies do things faster/slower than others, I'm not worried.

My LO has been clapping for about a month now and recently started waving and motioning for me to come to him. He also took his first steps last week.

All babies go through milestones at different times and some babies are more laid back and just want it on their time
