Just had my 11 week ultrasound and they are saying that there is a small tear in my placenta. I'm freaking out, because I know my baby feeds from the placenta. But during the ultrasound the baby looked great. Should I be worried?
I was told that I had three pockets of blood between my placenta and uterus about a 1 1/2 weeks ago (10ish weeks pregnant). I was put on pelvic rest (no intercourse and can't pick up anything over 15 pounds...a bit difficult seeing I have two toddlers). I assume that if it was something that they were concerned about they would have put you on some sort of restrictions right then and there or someone would be calling you before your Tuesday appointment. I hope that it turns out to be nothing serious and if it is serious and they don't tell you until your appointment on Tuesday you might consider finding a new practice.

GOOD LUCK
