I just need to vent. My husband has never been the affectionate chivalrous type, but lately he's been even more of an a$$ than usual. I feel like strangers and coworkers have been kinder than he has. Today for instance we finally installed our second story closet and I kindly carried all of our clothes upstairs. Hubby finishes installing the closet, announces his feet hurt and tells me to get busy hanging up all of our clothes goes downstairs and turns on the TV. (Excuse me, my feet are the size of small footballs). The least you can do is hang up your own gd clothes. Earlier this month he got upset I refused to help him unload a 50+ lb sign from his truck. I've told him multiple times how his behavior is inconsiderate and he always says I'm being irrational/ hormonal. I just can't help, but feel hurt by his behavior it's literally something new every day.

mmmh..this makes me sad.  Why is it that he can't be extra supportive of you right now and go the extra mile.  I'm lucky in the fact that my husband basically does whatever I tell him...lol.  I'm glad you are able to vent here though I can't offer any special advice.  Maybe next time he is rude or inconsiderate do exactly the opposite of what he tells you to do.  Like, instead of hanging up the clothes go downstairs, put your feet up, take the remote and put on a chick flick.  Oh and ask him if he could kindly get you a glass of ice water or tea because all that work plus growing a human being is making you so tired.  Then say thanks babe !  Guess my hormones are taking over! Can't wait to watch this movie! Love ya!  )

My ex husband was like this. He refused to help me do anything because he "didn't want me to become lazy". And he's just as lovely as an ex husband. Luckily I found an amazing guy who treats me with respect and love

His clothes would have stayed right where they were. I'm very fortunate in that my husband respects me and is extra helpful when I need him to be. I don't know how you can put up with irrational/hormonal comments without losing your shit. Especially from your husband. So sorry momma
