pain lower left side

This morning I went to pee and afterwards I had a sharp pain on my lower left front abdomen. It lasted quite a bit of time afterwards, hurt to move and stand up straight. Anyone else may know or experienced it? I'm 16 weeks today

This could really be about 6 different things or nothing at all. If it's debilitating pain then you should at least call your doctor.

I have pains like that all the time. For me, it is round ligament pain. Even before pregnancy, I was prone to it.

I am currently laying on the couch with a heating pad on my right side due to round ligament pain, not a fun little experience but the doctor said it's harmless and normal. I hope all is well for you!

Agree that it could be a number of things. I would check with your OB if you are really concerned. I know that I have terrible round ligament pain right now, especially in the middle of the night.

I get that, especially after peeing or standing up too fast. There's a whole extra body in there that has to suddenly adjust when you move or empty your bladder. That can 'shock' your muscles and make them react weird!
