She would like to know if there is a reason her temperature would drop 3 degrees then go back up? Nothing changed in her routine. She checks temperature everyday at the same time, has not done any strenuous exercise and she is on chlomid. Not sure where to post this. Please help pic of her charting included!

Her two temps before the drop are open circles, indicating they were taken at a non-regular time or in non-regular circumstances. This means her temp may not have actually dropped 0.3 degrees. The 2 prior may have been artificially high depending on when she took them, if she didn't sleep well, had hot flashes (side effect of Clomid), or drank alcohol. The drop could have also been caused by anything (cold room, sleeping with mouth open, etc). Also, mine would occasionally lower between CD3-5 for no apparent reason. All her post-detected O temps are above coverline, so it shouldn't mean anything substantive anyway. She should try to take her temperature at the exact time everyday before getting out of bed. Also, she should ensure she is obtaining proper monitoring (ie, bloodwork and ultrasounds) while on Clomid, which would make charting less relevant. Lastly, try her hardest not to analyze temps. It'll drive her crazy!! I had what appeared to be implantation dips and triphasic patterns almost every month, and I've never had a BFP. It wound up making everything harder on me.
