Re: TWW post (week of 9/21 - 9/27)

  • I'm DPO7 today. I have zip zero zilch in the way of symptoms. I also have no urge to test, but I may change my mind later in the week. I'm just taking it day by day. Friday is my 38th birthday, so I'd really like to enjoy my day and weekend instead of getting too disappointed by BFNs.

  • I'm 8dpo today but our timing really sucked, thanks to my being sick, then having house guests during my entire FW. I would have been happy to HIO but DH was a bit apprehensive. Ahh well. I'll probably test over the weekend anyway, just in case. No symptoms yet.

  • I'm 12dpo and have tested twice already - both BFN :(

I did experience some nausea for quite a few days and it was very noticeable but it stopped a day or so ago (this could've been from the nasty herbal concoction my acupuncture has me drinking and maybe my body is now getting used to it?). I've had very sore/painful breasts but that started pretty much right after O. Cramps on and off, which happens at random times anyway because of having PCOS. So basically I've had some symptoms but I'm not really believing they are pregnancy-related symptoms.

There's a small chance FF got my O date wrong since I had some rise-up-fall-back temps after my +OPK and maybe one of those extreme fall backs was my true O date? That would mean I'd be more around 10dpo...

I'm not taking progesterone this cycle so I can just wait for AF to show up (the old-fashioned way!!). She should make an appearance by Thursday or Friday. I'll wait until this weekend to test again but I just have this strong feeling that I'm out...

  • Good luck everybody!
  • Good luck everyone!  4 DPO here.  Zero chance I'm pregnant since I totally didn't think I'd ovulate this early and between illness and my anxiety last week, it just didn't happen.  UGH.  I feel like such a newbie that I didn't do my OPKs regularly.  I was literally stunned when FF gave me cross hairs on CD 18.  Well, I'll have at least one more month to try before IVF, at least, since my ovulation showed up "early."  Maybe it's the herbs.

  • @emsmama15 - Oh no!! Are you sure FF is right on this one? Do your temps look high enough to indicate that you O'd? What a bummer that you missed the chance but I know the feeling. When I O'd super early last cycle (CD11) I was not expecting it at all! And our timing was terrible. I guess our bodies can surprise us from time to time. Fingers crossed you O early again next cycle!!

Good luck everyone! We really need some BFP's around here soon!!

  • I'm 5 DPO and am home sick today.  Woke up feeling sick to my stomach and a stuffy nose.  After getting up and moving around my head felt like it was going to explode.  DH said we had a 16 barometric pressure drop overnight so I'm chalking it up to that.  Trying not to think about the 2ww but feeling odd that I don't really "feel" anything although I'm trying to be hopeful and realistic at the same time.

  • I'd like to put in for one of those BFPs, please!!!! 3dpo here. Our timing was decent this cycle -4,-2, & -1 but we fizzled out sooner than I would have liked due to sickness/exhaustion. Anyway, one of the very few benefits to spotting 4 days before my period is that I get to avoid BFNs since I pretty much know the the cycle is a no go if the spotting starts up. If by some divine (or Oprah-esque) intervention I happen to not spot, I'll probably test 13dpo which is Oct 3.

Fx for some BFPs up in here!

  • AF is scheduled for Thursday. I will test Friday if I haven't started by then. Our timing wasn't great this time. I think we were too early.

  • I am 5 days past FET. I am on PIO shots so get the joy of pregnancy symptoms while having no idea yet if it worked. I was pretty tired/drowsy this past weekend, but that has passed and symptoms have transitioned to bloating and mild cramping. At least i don't seem to get them all at once. That is what i recall from the last transfer. They really aren't that bad, though, and somewhat comforting to know the shots are doing their job. My beta test is next Tuesday.

Definitely need some bfp's here!!! Good-luck everyone!!!

  • Ooooh, a backlight would be nice! I have a Mabis. I'm usually fumbling in the dark in the morning and I grab my phone to try to light up the thermometer with the screen light and then plug it into FF when I'm there. But most mornings I knock like 12 things off the bedside table in the process and scare my cats and wake up my husband.

  • @redheadbride - this is me exactly.  And one day, I dropped my thermometer on the floor, spent about 5 minutes crawling around looking for it, finally turned on my flashlight app and it landed exactly in the center beneath our king sized bed.  WTH?  Needless to say, I woke my hubby AND my temp wasn't accurate since I'd been crawling around prior.

  • So sorry, @jennOK.  Hoping next cycle is YOUR cycle.

My RE and DH tagteam-mocked me for using the BBT.  DH was going on and on about how crazy it was to hear me fumbling around and the stupid beeping sound.  RE said I didn't need to do it since it has a higher percentage of user "error" in getting a precise temp.  That was his feeling on it.  I don't do it anymore, but it doesn't mean I'm not a closet OPKer in the evening in addition to the digital one the RE wants me to use. :P
  • I'm going to give temping a try. I've heard the doctors don't care about the data, but it makes me feel like I'm doing something. I haven't done OPK's, but I'll probably add those this cycle too.

I'm a little bummed I have to admit. Being a teacher, we were trying to get an EDD of April, May or June. Of course, that was in my "perfect world" where everything is easy and happens just like I want it too. Lol. Reality check time. That world doesn't exist.

My husband and I have talked about it, and we will keep trying from here on out even though it will mean missing a large chunk of the school year.

I have my fingers crossed for everyone else this cycle. I'm really cheering for a BFP from somebody.
Who was the BFP we had not that long ago? Have we had an update from her?
    kellymarie8408
  • I'm a teacher too, @jennok and had been hoping for the same thing... Alas. But we're definitely in the same place--we're determined now to just keep on trying and not worry about "timing" the birth with the school calendar. Here's hoping for some summer babes to get conceived ASAP!
