Who's not smiling?

So the post with all the smiling babies was incredibly adorable but also making me jealous that my little guy isn't spontaneously smiling yet!

He will be 6 weeks tomorrow. I'm not worried as I know it can happen anytime between now and 12 weeks but I'm so anxious/excited for it to happen. So I can feel like he is thinking, "hey mom you're doing alright!" Ha now all I get is looks like I'm a crazy woman. I talk and smile to him constantly.. Sigh.. We'll continue to wait

Anyone else still waiting?

My LO isn't socially smiling yet. She smiles in her sleep but I wouldn't consider that a social smile.

DD smiles but only in her sleep. I'm like you, I can't wait for her to smile at me instead of just at what I assume are her dreams of milk.

Mine just started a few days ago. He's 6 weeks today. I thought that was early and almost didn't believe they were real smiles until the midwife today said something about it.

DS will be 7 weeks tomorrow and may have only happened once. And it was more of a smirk. But he raises his eyebrow at me when I do it to him and its adorable!

DS will be 8 wks Wednesday and smiles are very slim. Mostly in his sleep, I've only got one social smile so far.

LO just smiled at me for the first time yesterday and she will be seven weeks on Friday.

My LO is 6 weeks and has had the occasional sleepy smile but not big social smiles. Like you, I'm eager! But it is normal so don't worry!

Mine is starting to socially smile... at everything and anyone else but me. I get the real frown face and and the lip quiver.

My LO is just barely giving me a slight grin when I talk to her.. most of her smiling & giggling happens in her sleep. What a stinker

I'm in the same boat. Gassy or milk coma smiles but no social smile. My LO is 6 weeks today, can't wait for the smile and giggles to come ! Glad I'm not the only one waiting.

My DD started smiling around 5 weeks. Now she smiles at everyone and everything! In the meantime, I'm patiently waiting for her little giggles to start!
