exercise and supply!

Any tips to keep your supply up while exercising? I already have a low supply and don't want to lose the small amount I've got.

  • I was thinking about exercising and am worried too. I've read that pumping after every feeding for a bit can help. Also there are certain foods that can help you boost your supply.
  • Make sure you're eating plenty and drinking lots of water, even more than before for both.

    I didn't Know working out could decrease your supply !?.
  • I've heard is more that working out until exhausted can decrease supply, and I feel that on days I go for a run my night feeds are hurting. It could be psychosomatic right? I would stick to light weights and spot training if you are worried. Avoid exhaustion and heavy sweat.
  • I thought of going back to pilates only and no cardio because I only pump, don't breastfeed. So my supply might go down quicker
