Costco Size 1 Diapers

Hey ladies,

Anyone buy Costco brand size one diapers? I wanted to buy newborn, but I didn't see any (in store or online) that were size "N".

The box doesn't have a minimum weight, just "up to 14lbs"...Has anyone used these in the past? Will they work for newborn, or swallow his little bottom? I ask really b/c we are cloth diapering after newborn size.

Thanks!

Re: Costco Size 1 Diapers

  • I used Costco diapers some when DS was first born, but not till he was out of NB size. They don't come in NB. The nice thing about NB size is they have a little cutout for the cord stump, which larger sizes don't have.

If you're planning on CDing after newborn size, I'd just go with huggies or pampers.

  • Thanks @MamaOwl15 ! Guess I'll have to return them :( Thought I got a good deal too, oh well. I'll register for a couple big packs of pampers on my amazon registry and buy them with the 15% completion :)

  • You might want to keep some disposable diapers on hand, maybe not size 1, but I've found a lot of cloth diaper mommas feel trapped when out and about and a few blow outs happen. I'm going to do my best with cloth, but don't feel guilty if you occasionally need to use a disposable. Costco is the best price for sure, but it's a lot of diapers.
