Provera question

Tomorrow is my final day on estradiol. I will need to start taking the 10 mg provera the following day for 5 days. Does taking it at specific time of day help reduce any side effects? I take clomid pm and only deal with hot flashes at night. I didn't know if you ladies had any extra insight on provera.

I'm not sure about provera specifically but I took regular progesterone at night, because it made me dizzy and drowsy.

I took provera at night. Also---stay away from alcohol while on provera. It made me horribly nauseous.

Thanks for the info. Yep I'm going to take it at night to try to avoid the side effects. Now if only I could avoid my full white nursing school uniform when it kicks in.

Oh no! When I started my first nursing job, we were required to wear white scrubs. That was the only time I truly appreciated my annovulatory cycles :)

Honestly, I don't remember provera periods being that bad. In fact, I think I only had a light bleed for like 3 days. Hopefully it'll be the same for you. Best wishes!

So just an update.... I'm no fan of provera! Apparently when it is mixed with my blood pressure medication it throws me overboard into dizzy spells. I had to change my medication timing around because it was so rough. I attempted to get dressed and ended up on the floor. Thank goodness I've only got one pill remaining.
