Tummy time

my baby hates tummy time!!!! He screams every time I put him down on his stomach. Does anyone have any tips to make it more pleasant? We have a colorful gym for him, but he's not impressed unless he's on his back.

Mine prefers to have tummy time on our chests.

i use the boppy pillow or lay him on my chest. I also use the play mat but he likes tummy time.

That article I posted has lots of ideas. We are still mostly just doing chest

Mine hates it too, no matter if it's on the mat, the Boppy, or our chest. Sometimes we can get 15 minutes with her, but most of the time she starts screaming and crying within the first 5 minutes. I hate to hear her cry but she needs to build up those muscles. So, I let her cry for a while. I'm hoping she'll just get used to it one day!
