Awful nausea

I cannot seem to stomach anything around lunchtime all the way until dinner time and sometimes all day! I tried eating fruit and bland things also drinking more water and having ginger chews but I still feel horribly nauseous and no desire to eat as a result I am feeling shaky what have been things that have worked for you??

  • It really is worse on an empty stomach for me so I try to force myself to eat. I know everyone recommends carbs, but try protein. That seems to be working better for me. It usually sounds really gross but then feels good while I'm eating it, if that makes sense. Crackers and fruit aren't doing a lot for me.

  • Cheese is a good protein for us as well. Grab some mellow chedder & crackers. I agree that an empty stomach makes it worse. I also pop a starlight mint (aka circular candy canes) to tame the nausea. Ginger does nothing for me.

  • I eat through the nausea, which kind of sucks. I also start the day with orange juice. I can't usually get food down until 10/11AM, but I can get orange juice down. That at least keeps my blood sugar up.
