Pregnancy Side Effects

Im 6 weeks and 3 days pregnant, I have been suffering really badly with constipation for over a week now, it has left me sluggish, bloated and crampy. It has also affected my sex drive due to feeling like a balloon, I have tried taking prune juice but not finding it overly helpful, any advice? Also suffering from evening nausea, nightmare.

I haven't experienced the constipation, actually having to go more often, which is an inconvenience. I keep hearing about the constipation and morning sickness and am scare to have either. My symptoms include finding it very difficult to sleep comfortably which is causing a lot of back pain each day, headaches galore and I pray my sore boobs don't get any worse. A few other things like hunger and peeing every hour, occasional nausea. I will be 8 weeks on Monday and 1st appt on Tuesday.
  • That was my first clue I was pregnant, the constipation! so annoying.

  • Lots of fiber and water. If it gets bad enough I'd call your doctor. I hope it gets better for you quickly!!

  • Fiber and water. I found that even the water help subside my nausea. Weird but it's true. If you can chug that first glass of water it gets easier and the nausea goes away (at least for me).

  • I would definitely suggest drinking more water, eating more fiber, and ask your doctor about taking miralax. I believe that is what the doctor suggested for me last time.
