Do we become part of the birth month club or do we stick to December? Just curious. I know a lot of women who may be due in December but have their baby in November. Does it matter? I know it's a silly question but it crossed my mind today lol
I don't think it matters. In the beginning I know a lot of mamas had due dates changed to November or January and they decided to stay here because they were already comfortable with all the mamas
I've wondered about this. My original due date was actually Nov 21 but was moved to Dec 1. I could very well still deliver in Nov but now I feel comfortable with Dec 2015 and the ladies here and wouldn't want to switch.
In my last BMB, we had ladies stay in S13 even though they may have had their babies in August, or even earlier. I was due Sept 1, so very well could have delivered in August, and would have stayed in S13.
If you have been a part of D15 for this long, and then your baby decides he/she likes November or January better, it doesn't mean that you have to go start somewhere new
DS was due at the very end of March 2012, and I lurked the April boards knowing he could be late. He was born early February. I only kept up with the March mamas.
With DD's due date being 12.2, I lurk and slightly participate in the November board, but I plan on sticking it out here.

I was in @redfallon last BMB and was due Sept 1. I ended up having DD Aug 23 but stayed with the Sept ladies. I just knew that much better and felt more comfortable with them,
I was with @redfallon and @Mags128 and was due sept 26. Gave birth aug 31st but stayed with the September mamas. You can stick to whatever group you're most comfortable with.
I think you've built the relationships here so if your borderline stay here. I also think if you go early it doesn't change LO's developmental age--and the medical community will actually adjust expectations developmentally for when premature babies should have been born until they are 2 years old. When I put a premature baby on a growth chart I have to correct gestational age if they were significantly early so that developmentally we are evaluating them correctly.
Yeah! And I was so jealous of all of you and your outside babies! Pretty sure I was close to last in the S13 BMB to have the baby. Was due Sept 28th and had her October 10th.
The BMBs are not locked. You can stay wherever you feel comfortable. I first was a member of the November board, then December… Then also was over in March but have stayed with the D15. It's where I feel at home.
Obviously, not everybody is thrilled with that… But there are a bunch of women that have encouraged me to stay here and I have to say that without them, there's no way that I could've gotten through what I've been through especially this past month. And I wanted to thank you all for being so wonderful!

I think there's plenty of room wherever you want to be
