Today's my A/S and I'm a bundle of nerves. I'm terrified and excited at the same time. I just don't want any bad news!

Good luck at your scan @brushesnbrunch, can't wait to have our scan already too - waiting 12 weeks is too long to see them again, if you ask me!

My worst symptom today would be my moodiness - I have zero patience today and even the sound of some co-workers make me want to scream, in all fairness there's one lady in mind who is just downright loud and obnoxious and I don't have doors on my office which sits next to the breakroom and every single day all I hear for an hour on her lunch is her either complaining or gossiping about people, so annoying!

 I started playing music loud enough for them to hear but not blaring, I'm just trying to cover up the sound of your voice, I can't stand gossiping - let alone a 50+ year old woman, grow up.

@brushesnbrunch can't wait to hear how it went!! I have one in 8 days and it will be our first glimpse of our sweet baby!!! I'm sick with anticipation!!

I have been super weepy today. I miss my husband and i was going to fly out and stay with him while he's in training. But my sister bachelorette is this weekend which has turned into a huge nightmare. I now have to pay for a beach house AND throw another bachelorette party so the people that backed out can "make it up" to her. Ehhhhhh no sorry.
AND since we will be out of town then I'm going to AZ until Oct 7th I have to board my dog. She's been so sweet today and I have shed a few tears thinking about leaving her for so long.

I have AWFUL gas pain today. It feels like it's all throughout my whole abdomen. It's not a crampy pain at all so I'm not concerned, just super annoyed by the pain.

So my two year old is home sick today. And she full on kneed me in the pelvis right on baby. She came up to me and jumped when I wasn't looking (stupid of me I know). My concern is....the baby is fine right? There's plenty of protection right? This happen to anyone else?

She is beautiful! We're going on vacation next week and I have to board my dogs for a couple of days before my parents get back from their trip. They're going to watch them the majority of the time we're gone. I hate leaving them, as well as our cats. I get all anxious and guilty. I think I have separation anxiety from my pets!

I just wanna say I feel GREAT today. Also, I was thinking over the last week how proud I was of our BMB, how we can have good conversation and such.

Also, not directed at anything directly because I know that's against the rules.........., but that escalated quickly.

Feeling pretty good today! Still having trouble sleeping, but not having trouble staying awake/energized at work, so i guess that's good!

We are going to visit some friends and their one week old baby tonight! I'm excited...it's been a while since I've held a newborn. we are bringing them dinner and I'm trying to be very conscious of not staying long so they don't feel like they are "hosting" us.

@brushesnbrunch can't wait to hear about your A/S!

Thanks! I'm glad I'm not the only one.  I had that momentary panic attack where I thought about everything that could go wrong from that one knee. I swear I'm crazier when I'm pregnant lol

My DH and I are planning out the next year of his vacation. This is very out of character for him, but with everything we have going on in the next year, we felt like we needed to plan/discuss this. He likes to hunt, both deer and turkey, so that means vacation time at our hunting property. We are going to Punta for my brothers wedding in June and then a baby. He proceeds to tell me how many days he is taking for each, which is fine, except he has more days for hunting than for when the baby is born?! Am I out of line for thinking this is screwed up?! I know I'll say something to him about it, but I'm just trying to wait it out and process my emotions instead of exploding on him.

I feel pretty good this week! Last week I was exhausted and ravenous, I don't know if it was hormonal fluctuation or if baby was having a growth spurt or what.

I slept like crap last night because my hips kept aching on whichever side I was sleeping. I was flip flopping all night. My ligaments in my stomach ache, too. I'm only 18 1/2 weeks - how in the heck am I going to feel in my third trimester if I'm already this uncomfortable!? Ugh.

@stephz44 - I am sure your baby is OK (I'm sure 2-year-olds pack a punch, but nothing lethal) but if you are in serious pain or concerned, of course call your doctor.

I'm irritable today.  My bosses are being annoying and ignorant.  They are both Luddites and have chosen not to learn any computer programs other than the basics of Outlook, which is fine; that's their prerogative.  But then please do not tell me how other programs function or have unrealistic expectations of the functions these programs can perform.   I just go in circles with them all day sometimes. I swear they think the computer is a magical box that can do anything.

Yeah, that would piss me off, too. Such a guy thing to do- he will probably be shocked to learn that you're not ok with it.

I just said, "Can we agree that you may need to take more time off for the baby and I and less time for hunting depending on how we adjust to being parents?" 

I know he's absolutely clueless as we are first time parents and he has like zero baby experience.  Hopefully, he'll learn something in the baby classes and "get it."

We haven't had super difficult babies, but the time my DH took after they were born was precious and SO FUN! He really loved it. He gets two weeks paternity leave and then takes two weeks vacation, so we get a little sick of each other;) but we have awesome memories! He's so excited for that time off again! Maybe your DH will feel that once it's here.

I went to the dentist yesterday for slight dental pain. Turns out I need a root canal and can only have minimal numbing, per the endodontist. Now I have to hope my OB clears the procedure.  (

My. Feet. Hurt..... Like I have just walked all day non stop.. They aren't really swollen but even after I sleep all night I wake up and almost want to cry at the thought of having to get up and be on them again then throw in horrible feeling of needing to keep myself from throwing up all night long I am exhausted end rant

I am right there with you!! I just hit 19 weeks today and the constant stretching pains and the lack of sleep is killing me already! And I'm not even showing yet, I'm still able to sleep in my stomach, I'm no good at pregnancy

I have the worst cold in the world. I have used about 200 tissues to control the tap that is my nose. And my mum helpfully suggested that maybe I should try coughing less because coughing is causing the sore throat. Must Not Commit Matricide.

I am having OCD issues. I am dwelling on having enough formula so I calculated out exactly how many boxes of formula SO and I need to buy and then some...I hate my OCD! And I want tacos...

UPDATE: of course I had nothing to freak out about, baby looks great. Got a big ass head, but honestly, was totally expecting that because my husband's side of the family just breeds big heads. And was super stubborn not letting the tech get a good shot of the head until the very end, but she was finally able to get the view she needed. Measured at 11oz.

Also, we're team boy

Same problem, and I'm only 17 weeks yesterday. Crazy pelvic pain/lower back pain. I have to end my day with a long bath....
