How do I deal with a really opinionated MIL?

So my son is a great baby, but I think that is because we have set up a great schedule for him. My MIL (who we are currently living with for) seems to think that she knows best and disregards his schedule right and left! She raised 4 boys who all turned out great and I value her opinions, but how do I get her to stop messing with something that has been working so well, without insulting her or hurting her feelings? Anyone else had a similar situation?
