20 week scan, prominent forehead

at my 20 week scan they thought everything looked good. Today I get a call saying I need to get another ultrasound because the forehead appears prominent. It is with a specialist. She tells me not to worry and says it's probably nothing. I am beyond worried. I am over 35 and got all the genetic testing done. Everything came back negative. Has anyone dealt with this? I am completely panicked.

First of all, don't panic. If your dr says it's probably nothing, then it's probably nothing. Wanting to double check doesn't mean there's something wrong. I had to see specialists for my first LO because he was always measuring "small". I was told not to worry as well, and they were right. I didn't have anything to worry about. I now have a gigantic two year old who's perfectly healthy and in the 100th percentile for height. There's nothing worrisome about a doctor wanting to verify that everything is okay.

Hi... Over 35 here too... your tests all came by negative... I totally wouldn't worry at all.... Docs are just overly cautious for the most part... hope you feel better soon....

Thank you Ladies. Everything wAs fine, thank goodness. Baby's forehead measurement was due to how small I am. It's completely normal. Wow, quite the scare.
