Extra sleepy

My LO is 5 weeks and has been sleeping a lot the past two days more than usual. She barely wakes to eat and falls asleep while nursing after just a few min. Anyone have experience with this. She isn't fussy. I was thinking maybe she's resting up for a growth spurt but I would expect her to eat more if that was the case. I plan to call her pedi tomorrow if she keeps on this way

LO will be 5 weeks Thursday and she did this today and one day last week, BUT today she got second part of her HepB vaccine so that could be why she was so sleep today, but she literally nursed and fell asleep nursing all day today and slept from after appt. at 930 on. I also had to wake her up at 815 this morning to make her eat before appt because she hadnt ate since 4 and she usually would have woken up from her MOTN feeding already by then. Anyways, yes my baby has done this previously, but I wouldnt base todays experience due to the vaccine that could have been a factor.

Edited: growth spurts can be marked by more eating, but more sleeping as well so I wouldnt count that out.

My DS will be 5 weeks tomorrow and last night he slept for 5 hours in a row. (That's a first for him) He has napped a lot today, I am kinda feeling worried, but glad to see yours is doing it, too.

Mine went through this too at 5 weeks. Enjoy because we are 7 weeks tomorrow and I think we might have hit our 6 week sleep regression today. No naps for more than 10-20 mins. She's asleep in her swing now and it's 7pm. Only been asleep for 15 mins. Who knows how long she'll sleep.

Mine is 5 weeks 5 days and doing this as well. Pediatrician did say she will have a growth spur at 6 weeks so it's a possibility. I notice she's eating a bit less then usual to but the doctor said not to worry unless she produces less then 6 wet diapers
