Supplementing with Formula

This may be a stupid question, so I apologize!!

My LO is 6 weeks old and we started supplementing with Formula. Now my question is, can the formula we give him be the formula that is for supplementing only? Or am I allowed to give him regular formula? We have been using Gerber Gentle for Supplementing that we received for free and has been working well. Just curious if we can use some of the others before having to go buy some. Thanks in advance!

You can use whatever kind works for your baby, I supplemented with my first baby and I used Similac advanced.
