    Cycle Status: More Lupron, more Estradiol.  I go in for blood work again today and if it's good we can schedule the FET (most likely the 21st) otherwise it has to wait until October thanks to the Pope visiting Philly and shutting down everything.

    QOTW: I love Fall themed crafts, making things with leaves, apples, and pumpkins.  My Pinterest is exploding with these craft ideas right now!

    Had my baseline and more blood taken this morning. HSG scheduled for Thursday. Let my first IUI cycle begin! May it be my ONLY IUI cycle! ;)

    QOTW: EVERYTHING! I love Fall. We have so many fun activities planned - pumpkin and apple picking, my annual murder mystery birthday party in November, NY Comic con, the Great Jack o' Lantern Blaze in Sleepy Hollow, NY, Boo at the Zoo (Bronx Zoo Halloween event), and the Sheep and Wool Festival in Rhinebeck. I also love to crochet and bake, and Fall is perfect for both!

    @ellebelle2384 - Yes, murder mystery parties are a blast! Last year's theme was "Once Upon a Murder"... everyone was a character from a fairy tale! (I was Snow White). This year it's a pirate theme, "Murder Among the Mateys". Can't wait! And yes, NY Comic Con is a blast. Especially now that my DS is into super heroes... :)

    @ellebelle2384 I am in philly too!! I am getting a mini vacation from work because of the pope

    My status is I am on CD 3 and starting Femara tonight.  This is IUI cycle 3 for me.  All three will be pills/injectables.  If this month doesn't work we will move to all injectables probably even though I'd love to try IVF but DH isn't ready for that.  This month I am doing 5 days of 7.5 mg letrozole and then Gonal F injections.  The first will be CD 5 and then CD7 and then go in for a check on CD9 and they will decide how much more I will need.  I am expecting another 2-4 days of injections before trigger and IUI...hoping third time is the charm for us.  

    As for Fall I am most looking forward to pumpkin picking and apple picking

    CD 14 today, got +opk saturday (CD12) which is odd, that seems early for me but i'm going with it. 

    QOTW: i love wearing boots and sweaters, and after that Africa-hot summer season we've had i am really looking forward to cold. well, as "cold" as So. CA can get i suppose.

    IVF #1    Oct 2014 - antagonist protocol: 9R, 7M, 5F. 3dt of 3 Grade 2 embies. BFN. 
    IVF #2    Jan 2015 cancelled due to dominant follicle.  Converted to IUI #1. BFFN
    IVF #2.1 March 2015 cancelled due to dominant follicle.

    BFP #6  (SUPRISE!) 3/19/15.  EDD 11/30/15...  CP at 4w2d.
    IUI #2:    Clomid + Follistim = 3 follies. BFN.
    IVF #2.2 May 2015 - horrible response to micro lupron flare protocol: 3R, 3M, 3F. 3dt of 2 Grade 3 embies. BFFN. 

    BFP #7 (beyond surprised again!) 4/26/16. EDD 1/5/17. beautiful betas!!!! and then near-fatal hemorrhagic corpus luteum. turns out baby was ectopic after all; another lap 5/6 (@24dpo).

    Still doing Lupron injections and minivail patches. Next ultrasound/blood work is Wednesday. Hoping to stay on schedule for my FET in 2 weeks!

    I love wearing hoodies and flip flops in the fall.

    Update: My E2 still sucks despite increasing estradiol dosages. So now I add even more estradiol and go back on Wednesday for another check. Goodbye September FET. I have been on Lupron for over a month with no end in sight and am beyond frustrated with my stupid body and tired of being a pincushion.

    @rachlee2010 - It's nice having the long weekend but the city is going to be a madhouse. I am prepared to not move my car for 5 days since we live in southwest Center City (just outside of "the box").

    @ellebelle2384 I know..it's going to be absolutely crazy.  I live on the Main Line but work in Fishtown at a school.  We have off Wednesday for yom kippur and then thursday and friday for the pope and possibly/probably monday.

    we are planning to stay in the very close area because even near our house a few of the train stations are running and Villanova is housing people I think too.

    July 15-Check to see if Ute is all healed

    Cycle Status:  We have officially chosen an adoption agency to work with and sent our paperwork off to them yesterday!  We still have a journey ahead of us but our home study is complete so that will save on time!  I'm feeling "free" for the first time in a long time.  We're going to continue to try on our own but with all of my issues carrying another bio baby is VERY unlikely.

    QOTW:  I love sunny crisp fall days!

    IUI #1 5mg Femara + trigger = BFN
    IUI #2 5mg Femara + trigger = BFN
    IUI #3 5mg Femara + trigger = BFN
    IVF #1, Stimmed for 12 days, ER 8/22/14, 9 retrieved, 7M, 7F!!  Freeze all due to fluid in uterus.
    FET end of October 2014 cancelled due to fluid in uterus due to possible c-scar defect
    Surgery scheduled 12/12/14 to fix possible isthmocele
    3/26/15 transferred one 8 cell grade 4 embryo and one 6 cell grade 3 embryo = slow rising betas for 2+ weeks = ectopic MTX shot 4/29/15
    Repeat c-scar surgery June 2015
    2nd and last IVF cycle August 2015, stimmed for 12 days, 2 egg retrieved, both mature and both fertilized.  Transferred both 8-cell embryos on Day 3, beta 9/5/15 = BFFN
    MOVING TO ADOPTION!

    Thanks for all the good vibes and support ladies. My body decided to stop fucking around and do what it was supposed to so we are able to squeeze in the FET before the Pope visits next week. Next Wednesday we will transfer one frostie. :)
