Formula feedings?

for moms who use formula how many ounces does you LO take? How often? How do you know when to increase the amount? How old is your little one? I've been breastfeeding, but having issues and supplementing frequently. Honestly tired of all the work and considering going to formula.

My DD2 is taking 5 ounces every 2 to 3 hours in daytime, she only wakes up once at night so she's drinking lots in the day to sleep at night! She was on 4 ounces last week and one day I made 5 ounces to see if she drinks it, and she did, so she's on 5 ounces now, and she's 8 weeks old

I was breastfeeding too but so much hard work as she wouldn't latch too much, so I had to pump, between pumping and then feeding I didn't have time for anything else, she soon rejected my milk! But don't worry mamma u know what's best for babba, and every babba is different, just go with the flow ;;) Hope I helped u a bit

My son is 6 weeks and taking 4-5 oz every 2 and a half to 3 hours. At night time he takes about 5 oz and sleeps for almost 5 hours!

Our LO is nine weeks. She drinks 3 to 4 ounces every 2 to 3 hours during the day. She usually sleeps six to seven hours at night and only wakes once to eat.

DD is 6 weeks old, 9 lb. 2 oz. She takes 4 oz. every 2-3 hours during the day and 5-6 hours overnight. I can tell when she's ready to up her ounces because at the end of a feeding she cries, roots and chews on her hands.

Ds is 9 weeks takes 3 to 4oz every 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 hours during the day. At night he takes 5oz in between sleeping he goes to bed around 9 and wakes up around 8/9 and only wakes up once during that 11/12 hr stretch usual around 2 or 3am.

How do you make just 5oz? My formula is 1 scoop to every 2oz of water?! Wouldn't you have to make 6oz?

LO is 10lb 7oz and takes a combination is 5oz breast milk/formula 2-3 hours and 6oz right before she goes to bed. She sleeps about 6-7 hours. (7 weeks old). I read somewhere that up to 2 months they take 4oz every 2-3 hours, but I really think it depends how big your baby was at birth and whether they are in a growth spurt. Sometimes she'll take 6oz in back to back hours.
