Oh the hormones! In a funk - Help!

I'm in need of some help. I'm 27 weeks now and during the past few days, I've been in such a funk and I can't seem to get out of it. I'm taking all my vitamins (iron, Multi prenatal, D, calcium magnesium) but even so, I just find myself crying a lot lately and I've been losing interest in almost all things. Anyone have any suggestions to get out of my funk?

  • This is my second pregnancy, and with this one, I've noticed that I randomly feel in a funk. Feel 'down' here and there. I've found that pampering helps. A nice bath, shave (lol) painted my nails and toes, and a little Target trip helped. I bought myself a comfy maternity tank dress to lounge in around the house. Just a few little things like that helped. It still comes and goes. I'm 37 weeks.

  • Definitely try the pampering method. It really can help. Also try to do things for you - read a book, binge watch a TV you've been meaning to catch up on, go to the beach, or whatever you know makes you happy. Most of us tend to put ourselves on the back burner to begin with, but I feel like ALL of us do during the final months of pregnancy for sure. So take a day off or even a whole weekend off from worrying about anything baby related.

    If nothing helps, mention it to your OB/midwife at your next appointment.
