Irrational freak out about cheese

Tonight I went out for Mexican food and I had some hot cheese dip and a quesadilla made with chihuahua cheese. I started panicking afterwards about the cheese. I even called the restaurant to find out if the cheese is pasteurized but never got past the front desk people telling me "I don't know". I think it should be fine because the cheese is hot, but I can't seem to turn off the anxiety about listeria.

If you live in the States, it shouldn't be a big deal anyway as all cheeses are made from pasteurized milk. You should still stay away from blue cheese and other soft cheeses to be super safe, but you should be fine (unless they make their cheese fresh from the cow in their backyard )
