Well "They" say...

Does anyone have a certain place that they go to get all the "they say you HAVE to..." information? I had a coworker that said she had done all this research to help her learn what all was important throughout her pregnancy and the first few weeks of baby's arrival. But does anyone have a certain place they go to get information like this. I know there are tons of books but what about internet?

Idk if this is what you're looking for, but I read a lot of articles on Pinterest. You can search what week you're in and stuff will come up, or pregnancy in general. It's kinda nice because a lot of blogs come up and them women are brutally honest. I read so many, one was about "25 things they don't tell you about pregnancy" another was "10 things no one will tell you about labor". It's nice to hear from the horses mouth, so to speak, about these things. It made me feel more confident about being pregnant, and it makes me happily anticipate giving birth. I feel like knowledge is power. I'm a FTM and I'm sure that will change and I won't feel so empowered when I actually go into labor and I'm begging for an epidural. Lol. But for now, reading other women's thoughts puts my mind at ease.

I hope you can also find useful information on there. I've looked up topics from what to pack in a hospital bag, and breastfeeding, to how to help dad bond with his newborn. Tons of things come up for each usually.

    Eta autocorrect.

  • I've read a few helpful books including Expecting Better and Panic Free Pregnancy. Both are research based and really informative.
