HELP! I've just had a lady tell me the following and I'm not sure how serious to take her: 1. Don't stretch or reach for anything, it causes tears in the ligaments around your womb. 2. Don't cough too much or too hard 3. Don't sweep/mop
I've heard you can pretty much continue as usual in the first trimester... Some advice would be awesome (I'm 6 weeks)
At six weeks your womb is hardly any bigger than it usually is, so if reaching and stretching caused stuff to tear, all women who have ever reached/stretched should be walking around with their unattached wombs bouncing around in their bodies, which they obviously aren't.
