Donating Placenta

Has anyone thought this far ahead? I wanted to with DD but it was a pain in the rear! Anyone else have experience with it? I hate they just throw it away when it could be of use to someone who really needs it.

    I'm going to have my doula encapsulate it and take the pills. Benefits of it are amazing!
