The doc told me to try it but im terrified that i don't hear LO cry for his MOTNF, my hubby works out of town so im by my self. and im a little worried that it might go into my breast milk. i know the body produces it already but i cant help but be a leary to try it.

Re: melatonin at night?

  • I take melatonin every single night. It's a 3mg pill. It's not like a cold medicine so it just makes me drowsy enough to fall sleep. I always hear my daughter and have never worried about not waking up. The only thing I've noticed with melatonin is that I've been having very strange dreams!
  • I took it before baby. It really helped me fall asleep but as pp stated its not like cold meds and you're knocked out to the world. Its worth a shot.

  • It's better then taking a sleep medication like unisom or zzz quil. It's a natural way to fall asleep but it doesn't always work. Ru stressed out or in constant thought mode? Yoga helps me and deep breathing and even having s banana before bed helps!
