I have seen a couple of threads around here on that topic. I like to follow them since my dd was diagnosed at 16 yrs. Take a look around and u will prolly run across them. G/l

Hi there! I don't have much advice as this is all new to me, but I also have Lupus and am at nine weeks. I just met with my high risk team (obstetrician and maternal medicine specialist) for the first time yesterday and feel really good and confident. Do you have good care? Happy to compare notes! Especially as we seem to be close in timings :)

You're not alone! I'm here too. Just over 12 weeks and seeing a ROC. Unfortunately, lupus is not my first autoimmune disease diagnosis. I also have Graves' disease and autoimmune hepatitis. I've discontinued all immune suppressors for this pregnancy and praying for no flare ups. I've stayed in bed more days than I would like to admit, and feeling kinda horrible, but it will be so worth it.

Oops! I got cut off! I am not familiar with the acronym but am from NZ so we probably have a different term down here. If you don't mind my asking, how are you managing your illness without inmunosuppression? My doctors have kept me on all meds including prednisone and azathioprine (which I was specifically put on for pregnancy so I could reduce my amount of prednisone). I am nervous about all the medication I am on.... It is very nice to meet someone in the same boat as me!
