Sciatic nerve pain-help!

Okay ladies.. Even since I've delivered (3 months ago) I've had terrible nerve pain in my left butt cheek and on the inside of my groin. This is like in my vagina area kinda pain. I went to the chiropractor and she said I had some pressure on my left hip pushing on the nerve and she helped me out some (I was going twice a week) but honestly who has the time to go twice a week to the doctor? So I've tried doing stretches and exercises at home but it gets so bad I can't stand or even sit. Nothing helps. It's like a burning to tingling sensation that won't go away and even wakes me up at night sometimes. My question is- has anyone else had this pain more so in their vagina area and what have you done to help the pain?

  • I mostly lurk if I have the time but I have sciatic pain as well, however not so much the vaginal pain. I go to the chiro 3 times week and I've been going for a few weeks now. I'll be finished with tri-weekly appts here in the next 2 weeks. I can honestly say just go to the chiro appts. Yes, it's time consuming but the benefits are phenomenal. Think of it as rather then trying to mask the pain, your helping your body heal itself so you won't have anymore pain. On top of treatment I'm walking 20 min every morning, 20 min heat 20 min ice(3 times consecutively is best, but I usually only get one round in), stretches, and making the conscious effort to have good posture. Crunches are also good in conjunction with stretching but I still have diastasis recti so crunches are no bueno. Treat yourself and keep going to the chiropractor!
