I still have 21 work days to get through. My EDD is 10/10 and my last day is 10/09. What was I thinking?!?!
I'm basically useless right now. All I want to do is sit on the bump all day or read articles on unmedicated birth to mentally prepare myself. Luckily I got a lot of shit done before I hit this wall and don't have that much to do at the moment. Although, I'm training the worker who is taking over my caseload so I have to at least make it look like I'm not a lazy cow. Ugh... is it nap time yet?
I have totally checked out at work and feel cranky just having to go into work. I only have 11 working days left and it feels like forever. I'm so ready for a break from customers, coworkers, and the general public.
I want to work right up until my water breaks, I work in the lab and L&D is down stairs. I hope I go into labor at work and I'll just go down stairs lol.... But with all my back pain and other pain I really want to leave a few days before I'm due. I will just have to see, I told my boss and she said just to let her know. I'm taking 8 wks off, but only have enough EIB/ PTO for a month, so the last 4 weeks I won't get paid
Re: Why I thought working to the end was a good idea
