The doctor wrote me a note that said due to the complications of a twin pregnancy that I couldn't work past 30 weeks. I am a teacher and our disability pay is 70%. So I just had to give my district the dr note and fill out paperwork! I would've never made it to 37 weeks without all that rest. Perfectly healthy pregnancy until 36.5 weeks I started to get preeclampsia so they induced me exactly at 37.
I worked right up until my scheduled c-section at 38w2d. I wanted as much time with my girls after they were born, so I didn't want to go on leave before they were born. I took the day off before my surgery, because I had to be there at 5:00am. I wanted one last day to spend with my family, and give my son some one on one attention.
I'm 33 weeks with di/di boys & I'm pretty sure today was my last day. I'm an RN & on my feet all day. I'm getting fairly crampy while at work & want to keep these boys in as long as possible!!

I went into labor at work at 39 weeks! I kept getting told (by co workers not by my doctor) stay home and rest but I was pretty stubborn!!! But I was healthy and happy! I think it all depends on your body and how it handles the pregnancy!
