Hello all! Just a short note to introduce myself. I'm 38 and recently went from ttc to actually pregnant (five weeks as of today, Sept. 8). Fun fact: This future LO was conceived on a trip to Prague! 

I hope this doesn't turn anyone off, but TTC and wanting kids is kind of a new thing for me; I've long been content being childless. Recently my feelings have changed and I'm really excited to become a mom!

I'm trying to actively participate in my BMB (May 2016), but I am eager to interact with other women in my age group specifically. 

Last but definitely not least--best wishes to everyone reading this for a peaceful, healthy and happy journey through this process.

Conceiving somewhere interesting always makes for a good story! We think our DD, who is 2yo, was conceived in Paris ... We're not 100% sure but hey we'll go with it

Haha @PlainJane8350! For me just a perk of a husband in the military! We were stationed in Spain & I have to say what a cool perk ... It was incredibly cheap to fly within Europe (like $50 each way!!) so you could just hop on over to Paris for a birthday weekend as you would from L.A. to San Fran or something!

Thanks...but I'm still jealous. I don't even think I ate French fries the night we conceived! J/K I'm glad that both of you have good stories.
