Exercise pains

i go to my doc in another week so I'm going to ask then, but curious of others. I like to run three days a week. On Friday I ran and had sore stomach pains afterward. In fact, they just finally went away yesterday. I was supposed to run again this morning but now I'm worried to. Anyone else experienced this? I'm 22 weeks along. If my doc tells me I have to stop running that's fine. Just didn't know when you knew when it was time to stop working out/running.

  • I can't relate to your exact situation, but as someone who exercises regularly, the rule of thumb is immediately stop doing something if you're experiencing pain. I would personally not do that same exercise again until I talked to my doctor. Maybe try some other form of exercise in the meantime, if you don't want to call before your appt .

  • I had a simat experience. I just entered the 2nd trimester so I felt better to work out. Toned it down and did squats,lunges, and light weights. But I guess my heart rate went up faster than usual and I had to stop but shortly after I felt minor cramp like pains. They went away the next day and weren't super painful just uncomfortable. I worked out again yesterday and had small cramps but went away. Not sure if it's ligament pains or my body getting used to working out
  • Yeah it's not like real pain. Just more of a soreness. I was wondering if it was round ligament pain too. I'm just so over protective right now. Think tomorrow I'll try the elliptical.
