12 week growth spurt?

My LO in is his 12th week..13 weeks tomorrow. He's been a mess the last few days. Eating like crazy and Sleeping. Like. Crap. Naps are a mess, witching hour is amplified, and he's waking every couple hours at night. We previously had pretty consistent, easy 1-2 night feedings before. He also seems to have a worse startle reflex out of nowhere. Anyone else?

Yep! Happened to us at 13 weeks. They come out of it by 14 weeks. Hang in there!

I have read it happens anywhere from the 3rd to 4th month. My lo just turned 15 weeks and we have been going through it the last 4 days. These days also happen to be the 4 nights my dh works evenings and its just me and lo. It said it could last up to a week so here's praying these next 3 days go quickly.

I think we're here. 13 weeks yesterday and LO has forgotten how to sleep through the night - she's very hit or miss the last few nights. Last night specifically she also forgot how to go back to sleep after waking. I feel like a zombie and DH is going to a conference tomorrow through the end of the week @-)

Mine started doing all of this last week! She hit 12 weeks today. She's starting to come out of it, slowly but surely.

Yes!! We used to only wake for one feeding and the past few nights three!! Also a little more clingy- hit 13 weeks yesterday. I think along with a growth spurt when they are mastering a skill ( head up, hands to mouth) they can have a few days of regression.

We're there too, plus leap 3. It's one and she's been napping since 9:30. Crazy long naps and waking more at night are always a sure sign of a growth spurt for her. She woke up four times last night, but put herself back to sleep two of them. She's been crankier than usual in the evenings too. I wonder what fancy new skills she'll have when she emerges from this spurt.

Yes, bright side is LO is a dream in his car seat now that he can easily find/ suck his hands. Small victories

Just curious, are you all noticing these spurts/leaps align more with LOs due date or birth date?

@katyqv I just started following the WW, so I don't know about the first two leaps. This one seems to be matching up with the due date.

@katyqv surprisingly her birthdate. She was 6 days early but she's happy as a clam when it gets to her due date "leap". Except this one which coincided with her 13 week growth spurt from hell.

@katyqv I am confused on it. We are either starting short # 3 or long #4 soon so we shall find out soon. Eek!!!

I'm pretty sure LO is aligned with her actual birthdate and we're just coming out of leap #3. She'll be 13 weeks Friday and was born 10 days early. And damn, the next leap looks scary.
