  • This thread is interesting to me, because in a STM, but was induced the first time, so this will be my first experience going into labor naturally. 
    This is my experience too. I do remember that I had absolutely no clue if my contractions were regular, how long they lasted, or how long I'd actually been having contractions for. All I know is that things progressed mighty fast. I'm more concerned about recognising that it's go-time soon enough to have sufficient time to get someone to watch DS as we're somewhat lacking a support network. The hospital is 10 minutes away, but MIL is 45 minutes away...

    You may just have to have MIL meet you at the hospital. That's my last resort but in a pinch it's what I'd do.
