Coughing

My LO has been doing really well at BF'ing. But the last few days she's been having a coughing fit at the end of her feeds. It's like she drank too much and starts coughing. This sometimes results in her throwing up. Thoughts?

Coughing can sometimes be a sign of acid reflux. See is she has other signs (throwing her head back etc). Sometimes babies have "silent AR" which they don't spit up all the way but it does go up their esophagus and causes discomfort coughing etc. this was one of the signs that our dr let us know of. We she now on a small dose of Zantac and coughing, painful cries etc has all stopped. Good luck mama

@Bubbles7712 thanks for the response. I went to see her Ped this past week and they are watching her for reflux now. She's had some other symptoms also. So now it's just a waiting game. I hate seeing her like this!
