If you guys have already done something like this, sorry! I didn't see anything but as you know I was MIA throughout July so I definitely may have missed it.
Anyway, what parts of your baby's personality, or what habits/interests, have stayed the same since even before they were born? Was there anything you picked up on then that has stayed consistent now? Or, did you expect them to be interested in something then, but they're not displaying that interest yet?
Re: For fun - what hasn't changed?
She's also always been super interested in kicking. She was kicking away in her very first ultrasound, kicked throughout pregnancy, and has loved kicking ever since she was born. That combined with her love of music makes me think she'll be a dancer someday!
He also had his hand/arm over his face in the 3D ultrasound in January, and he still likes to lie and sleep like that. With his knees pulled up. Those knees and feet were in my ribs foreeeevvverrrr when he was in the womb!
He's had a very distinctive look since he was about 3-4 days old. A very serious expression, with dark, almond shaped eyes.
Since birth she's been very nosy and incredibly alert (except when near the boob...snooze fest). She's always looking around, never content in one place for more than 5 minutes, and always wants to be carried around.
Since the moment we returned her mamaroo and bought a swing at 6 weeks (thank you lord baby Jesus) she has been obsessed with it. Talks and squeals in it as soon as she gets in it.
Since birth she has been ecstatic to be on her changing table. Squeals and laughs with delight. Even as a newborn she would quiet down and be so happy as soon as we put her on it.
He also is clearly my kid because he loves being social anywhere. Has to be facing out and see everything that's going on. Loves public places!
Now he has an insatiable appetite, which shouldn't surprise me since when I was pregnant he made me have an insatiable appetite! I don't know why I was surprised. I was pleasantly surprised by his cute little smiles though...I didn't imagine those while pregnant.
He's very strong too. When I was pregnant he'd stick his legs right out my side, you could see my whole stomach deform. He's had really good head control since he was born
eta: and still super grabby/pinchy with his hands, came out of the womb reaching and grabbing, now his thing is grabbing/pinching my boob while he is eating.
Edited spelling
He also still loves his dogs. In utero he would start kicking when they barked bit didn't seem bothered by other sounds. He is still in love with his pups. When they bark he starts kicking and he watches them when they walk around.
