I know this wasn't directed at me, but here's the recipe and website I used for my last batch and they turned out great and made a lot. My only tip is to follow the baking time and not be afraid to take them out when they're still soft to the touch because they harden up as they cool.
lol I asked breezymeema7 because she is the baker of the bunch but all comments are totally welcome!!' I just want to know what tastes good before I expend a bunch of energy making them ) thanks for the responses :-)
I just use regular oats and milk chocolate chips. You can also cut some sugar out and sub in honey.
Another great lactation cookie are those no bake chocolate oatmeal stacks, you know? Just throw in your ground flax and brewers yeast, you'll never know the difference.
Sometimes, like today, I just make plain raisin oatmeal cookies with extra oatmeal and pretend they're good for my supply
So glad to come across this post! I'm curious to see how effective lactation cookies are in boosting my milk supply. And baking sounds like a good way to kill time tomorrow
Who is going to send me some because I am too damn lazy for baking cookies??

I outsourced to my mum! That amazing woman went to the health food shop and picked up Brewers yeast and linseed meal and made up some cookies for me. A few hours after eating some my pumping volume went back up to 90/100ml in about 10 min per boob (I was struggling to get 70ml in 15 min or more per boob previously). It may have been a coincidence, but yay anyway!
I have been doing smoothies for breakfast. I would have to hide cookies and its just way too hot to turn on my oven. Same ingredients (oats, flax, yeast) and they great! I found my recipes on Pintrest.

Care to share a good recipe? I'm going to try smoothies too.
I really love anything with peanut butter. I never would have expected it to be good the strawberries, but it was a trick to getting down shakeology (their strawberry shake is truly disgusting) that I carried over once I started making my own and its fantastic!
Update- had the chocolate peanut butter (more like an early lunch then breakfast) but it was really good. Also, FYI, flax seed does not get blended. The seeds stay whole. Not sure if flax meal would work better.
I made the lactation cookies from the recipe that @emmacake08 shared and they were amazing. I left them out to cool and, when I went back into the kitchen, there were 6 missing. DH, who doesn't like sweets, said, "dang, those are some good cookies!" Haha. He was mortified when I told them what they were.
@kjandericka DH ate a bunch too, was mortified and then realized there wasn't anything alarming in them! They were really good, I just baked the first batch too long so they were lactation cookie bricks
LOL at your DH's. My husband won't touch them even though I told him it's not going to make him lactate! The the brewer's yeast can cause some awful gas.
Here's the recipe I used, I was looking for a peanutbutter/chocolate version. They definitely work for me.
Im going to be making these cookies in the next day or so (once I can track down some brewers yeast). What do you all think as far as milk production results?

This is the recipe I used. I also added two eggs.
And I may have already eaten two dozen. But hey it's all in the name of increasing my milk supply
I've been doing the "fruit lactation smoothie" from this page.

Also, I did add Brewers yeast to them as well
I have been taking fenugreek. Seems to help..
