Hi all! Ive sent a text to my midwife asking her opinion but I just wanted to know from experience if any other ladies used tea tree oil products on their skin during pregnancy.
I was looking on Lush's website for some relaxing goodies that were safe to use during pregnancy + came across their tea tree toner tabs (you put one in hot water + let the steam open your pores + seep into your skin to help calm acne etc)
So when I started looking up using tea tree oil during pregnancy online I got about 50 different answers! Can't find any definitive result so I wanted to know from experience if any mamas have used tea tree oil throughout previous pregnancies?
Sorry if this is a dumb question

Our family of 5 is complete!! Love our boys!
But I stopped using it after my visit with my doctor, because when I went in for my prenatal appointment they had a flyer stating all the herbs, oils, and other stuff you should stay away from once expecting. To my surprise one of them was tea tree oil. I was scared as I've been using lush's tea tree toner for over a year now. Same with some of their other products containing it. Although when I bought them I made them aware I was expecting, she assured me they were still safe. I let my doctor know and she said well in that case it should be okay as long as it is in small amounts. Despite her saying that, since then it has made me kind of hesitant to continue using it. But they have tons of other options without it. Like the first mask I suggested. They have coal masks that work awesome too and face washes.
