Definitely craving pita and hummus right now. All the salty/savory snacks please. I saw some dill pickle chips today at whole foods today I had never had before and really wanted those, but didn't get them - I like pickles a lot though. And green apples... Luckily those I have. And blueberry yogurt, which is kinda a weird one bc I'm not a huge blueberry or yogurt person.
And my ginger candy, but only bc that's helping with any indigestion and nausea I'm having.
I don't think I'm even going to make it through first trimester without breaking my vegetarianism...

I'm pescetarian (only eat fish and seafood) and lately I have seriously been craving a Chik-fila chicken sandwich... Surely it has to do with the billion commercials I've seen for it though on tv bc college football is back in full swing in our house.
I've been craving fruit! I was at the store the other day and the plums were calling out to me. So much so I bought one and couldn't wait--I ate it on the drive home. I also bought a container of chopped watermelon. I ate the whole thing last night, savoring every bite like it was a bowl of ice cream, haha.
Fruit is obviously not the worst thing in the world to crave, but it makes me wonder *why.* What am I not getting in my PNV and regular diet that fruit contains (hence the craving)?

Lol. I'm not vegetarian, but I am also craving beef like crazy. I got the big cheeseburger at Five Guys yesterday and DH just smiled. Last pregnancy it was just an any-meat craving (I used to really only eat chicken and fish) and the cravings got me to eat ribs, pork chops, and steak happily. Edited to add : it * might * be a craving for protein, iron, fat, B vitamins etc. that are fairly high in beef. I know that part of it for me is just the smell-- which used to turn me off before DS, but now seems so good.
Orange juice!!! Cheeseburgers, onion rings, dill pickles... Basically anything wildly acidic or fatty :-p Today I made my husband take me to Taco Bell for a breakfast bacon crunchwrap!!! Mmmm...

The other day it was mozzarella sticks with Melba sauce. Mmm. Right now I'd kill for a salad though. And I've been drinking an insane amount of water. Wow.
I'm craving a tuna sandwich right now like crazy. Specifically, a tuna sandwich from Jimmy John's but I don't know what kind of tuna they use or how much is on the sandwich. So I think I will probably go buy some canned chunk light tuna and make a sandwich at home (not the same, but I am desperate and paranoid at the same time).
I went through a waffle phase with DD. Not just any waffles though. It had to be Eggo waffles! There were many nights I snuck downstairs at 3 am and ate a waffle...
Right now I'm craving cranberry juice!! This happened to me early in my first pregnancy. Apparently I need some Vitamin C.
ETA also a tuna sandwich on rye bread but the stores here don't carry that type of bread so either I have to bake it myself or settle for ryvita crackers- I feel that some baking might be coming on.
I still want pickles... But the grocery store didn't have the ones I wanted. They don't sell them anymore. Whole Foods has some but they aren't the same brand... DH looked at me like I was crazy when I suggested checking Amazon. He said I can try the Whole Foods ones tomorrow.
It's frustrating that I'll crave one thing and then shortly thereafter it sounds like the nastiest thing evar.
This is me EVERY SINGLE TIME now. Begged DH for spaghetti last night, he caved and I ate 5 bites bc it tasted weird. Today, kale salad sounded great. I love kale. Nope tastes horrible. If this keeps happening I'm going to run out of things to eat real quick.
Steamed broccoli with lemon juice, water, and pickles. Also surprisingly coke. I haven't had coke in two years. I normally do sprite and crush. But I have had two today with some toast. Other than that I really don't have an appetite

My dinner from last night repulsed me at lunch today. I just want sweet potato fries, cookies, chocolate milk, pumpkin spice anything, cheeseburgers, and panang curry... Wth?! :-O
Update to yesterday - salads with lots of vinegary dressing, adding some hot sauce doesn't hurt either. Fresh vegetables seem to be the only thing I can stomach now. That and my ginger candy.
