I'm so heartbroken right now. I need some time to regroup so if I don't comment on your posts in the next couple days, I'm still here, thinking about you all and cheering for you...  Thanks everyone for the well wishes.

  • I'm so sorry to hear this news. Praying for you and your family.
  • I am so sorry to hear this.  Yes, the progesterone is going to make all the feelings extra hard, but those are legitimate feelings.  This sucks.

Take good care of yourself.  Take a walk and get some fresh air, and do something nice for you.
Me- 39 (turning 40 in April), TTC for the first time ever (since Jan 2015), low ovarian reserve
Married 3/14/14 to my wonderful wife, but her sperm count is rather low
TTC with frozen donor sperm and science

    7 IUIs, 7 BFNs.
2 IVF attempts, both cancelled and converted to IUI, both BFNs.
Decided that my tired old ovaries are ready to retire.
Next step- reciprocal IVF, using my wife's eggs, my uterus!
fresh 5 day transfer (2 embryos) 4/17/17- BFP!
Identical twins "due" 1/2/17 (but anticipated arrival sometime December)

  • Oh, I'm so sorry to hear it!  It hurts so much more when you feel certain of it.

There's lots of Bump love here for you when you need it.  xo

9/5/18 Diagnosed with diminished ovarian reserve (4-5 follicles, one ovary had none and was very atrophied)

  • @emsmama15, I'm sorry. Glad you're feeling a tiny bit better. Not sure what the schedule will be, but we go in for first consult for IVF in Oct. It's been a year since our last consult, but if everything is okay, we might be on the same track as you.
