When do you ladies test? I'm an anxious. I want to test now, AF is suppose to be here in 6 days. Ugh when did you test and what brand test?

    With my first pregnancy I got very faint positives at 9 dpo with the dollar tree tests and first response early pregnancy tests.

    I POAS way too early. I start at 8-9dpo with Internet cheapies (Wondfo brand) and if I see a line I confirm with a FRER. I don't use a digital unless I get clearly visible lines and it's usually around 12dpo. Good luck!

    TTC#3 July 2014 - Metformin +TI = BFP at 9dpo - Twins, one baby lost at 5.5 weeks

    If you are temping then there really is not reason to test very early.  The temps are basically a test.  After a few months I can tell at what point my temps drop if AF is coming.  For me it is around 10-11 DPO.  Also I have a short LP phase...around 12 days.  If you have a longer LP phase you might have to wait longer to get a positive.  I don't like the idea of seeing a negative preg. test because it makes the mind wonder if it is negative because it is early or because the month was unsuccessful.  It is only 12 days...I would rather wait, even when it sucks.

    After having a chemical pregnancy a week ago, I've decided not to test early anymore. The odds of losing it are much higher before you miss AF.
    TTC#1 since Jan 2015
    BFP 2/19/15  •  MMC found at 9 wks  •  D&E at 11 wks (age 36)
    BFP 8/29/15      •  CP (age 37)
    BFP 11/18/15  •  DD born at 41 weeks <3(age 37/38)

    TTC#2 since May 2017
    BFP 10/18/17  •  MMC found at 8 wks  •  Misoprostal at 10.5 wks (age 39)
    BFP 2/16/18      •  CP (age 39)
    BFP 4/13/18      •  CP (age 39)
    BFP 5/07/18  •  MMC found at 10.5 wks  •  D&E at 11.5 wks      •  Testing showed it was a girl with Trisomy 22. (age 39/40)
    9/5/18 Diagnosed with diminished ovarian reserve (4-5 follicles, one ovary had none and was very atrophied)
    RE says the low egg count is likely causing my recurrent pregnancy loss. Less eggs results in more aneuploidy.
    BFP 9/24/18  •      CP (age 40)
    BFP 5/11/19  •  Fraternal twins  •  MMC found at 10w5d (Baby A 6w, Baby B 10w)  •  Misoprostal at 11 weeks (age 41)

    With my first pregnancy I had a BFP at 9 dpo but that's early and rare. I mc at 8 weeks but I wish I waited at least until my missed AF. The time between a BFP and missed AF is so long and terrifying. I honestly feel like I will now wait a week or so after AF. But we'll see.

    I've tested at 10dpo and gotten a positive, but now I'm waiting til af is late to avoid any further disappointment. Good luck.

    I don't usually test until the day after my period is due. I've only tested early when on medication with all kinds of warnings about use during pregnancy.
