Re: Weekly check-in 8/30
hayleydeee, wecome!
jerseygirl227, sounds like a great class, sorry about the awkward moment. Hope the PT goes well.
Thanks for the back-to-work well wishes last week.
First week back wasn't too bad. DH watched LO 3 days, and took him to daycare on two, which has eased me into things. It actually does feel good to get out of the house and I do feel like I'm more engaged and appreciative during the time I do have with LO. Plus, I actually enjoyed my job my job more than I had in a while, coming back refreshed. I haven't been too appreciative of my current job before, but right now I feel blessed with the most low-stress, supportive, family friendly workplace I've ever been in.
Even so, I'm still not sure how sustainable full-time work is. DH has his own business and is the primary earner, so I worry he's taking on waaaay too much by also trying to watch LO part time.
Most tiring part of the week was keeping up with pumping, since having been out of town most of the summer, I have no freezer stash.
Parenting role model: I'll check out @hayleedeee . I don't really know very many parents (and esp not of small children). I keep on thinking baby must be a bit bored
Take care and all the best! Ilze
