39 weeks pressure really low, labour sign??

hey guys I'm 39 weeks pregnant with my first.
I'm feeling a lot of pressure really low in my pelvic area. Is this a sign of labour?

Me too. Lots of pressure on my rectal area last night. Yes, it means it's soon.

I've been having this bad on and off for weeks now. My cervix is low but at my last check I was 100% intact. I'll be 37 weeks on Tuesday.

    Good luck.

37 weeks and I have it. Have had it for awhile doctor told me it's normal. Especially around this time.

Almost 37 weeks here and I've had tons of pressure down there. I am pretty sure that it is normal for this point in pregnancy. Little one is trying to make their way out but it takes a lot of time. I was 1 cm dilated at my last appointment, also normal for 36 weeks. Either way your LO should be here soon!!

Same here! Was 1cm at 36 weeks. I knew DH didn't know that you can be like that for a few weeks so I called him after the doctor and told him and boy did I hear the panic in his voice! "Does that mean he's coming right now!?!"

It was a nice little prank to play.

No it's not a sign of labor. It's just a normal part of the third trimester as baby lightens (drops).

Agree with @WDDCH I have been having pelvic pressure that has been getting worse with each week since 35 weeks. Still pregnant and overdue 40.3 weeks. I was 1 cm for 3 weeks.

Yes, it could be a sign of labor. The first phase of labor is marked with dilation, effacement, cramps, contractions, pressure, etc. It's part of the first phase. It could still take weeks to move through this phase and into active labor.
