Does anyone have low amniotic fluid levels?

If so what are your experiences? Personally I'm really frustrated because the doctor told me to watch my kick count and go in for a stress test if it's low.... but kick count is not even close to being an exact science. Who's to say she would even be stressed if she's not moving a lot? and when would I go in? after just one low kick count or if she's been having small amounts of kicks all day? Does anyone's doctors have them going in for regular stress tests because that's what I feel like should be being done.

I started having low fluid at 34weeks dr then had me coming in twice a week for ultrasounds to monitor the levels. At 36weeks they went back up. But when they lowered again at 37weeks, I was induced. Doctor was worried about a stil birth. By was fine but had to spend some time in the Nicu due to being a little early.

I found out yesterday at my 36 w visit my fluid was low (7). We did a ultrasound and fetal monitoring. Both were ok, baby is ok. Since I'm already scheduled for weekly visits we will do the same BPP tests to monitor levels and baby. If level drops to 5, we will
Induce.

I just went in for my 37 week check and my fluid was also low and baby is small so my dr has me doing NST's twice a week and an ultrasound once a week. Hope all is well with you and baby
