My first pregnancy ended in a missed miscarriage at 9 weeks. For the whole 9 weeks I never felt any pregnancy symptoms, not even sensitive boobs. I could not help but think that there was a link between my lack of symptoms and my miscarriage. I am 6 weeks pregnant and, again, feel no symptoms. Of course the lack of symptoms is not making my anxiety any better. I remember reading somewhere that nausea means a pregnancy is progressing well. I would like to know if that is true? I am just scared that I will miscarry again because I don't have any symptoms.
Re: 6 Weeks pregnant, no symptoms and scared of another miscarriage
Plenty of women go on to have healthy babies with minimal symptoms.
Try not to worry, and best wishes for a sticky baby!
I'm not yelling at you I just really want you to know that. I felt the same as you a few weeks ago but I read over and over and over again on this wonderful forum accounts from women who had minimum to no symptoms and had perfect babies at the end. Seriously, do a search like I did and you will see.
Let me add my story to the mix: I am eleven weeks and two days. I've had no morning sickness, maybe I've felt queasy twice which was probably unrelated. Minimum other symptoms, so gentle they may not even have been pregnancy related.
I heard the heartbeat on a Doppler at 10 weeks 6 days. Loud and clear, the best thing I've ever heard. So no, no, no you do NOT need to feel sick to have a healthy baby. You should actually be grateful you're not puking every hour!
Of course unfortunately there are no guarantees with any pregnancy but I really believe you can stop worrying about your lack of symptoms as a cause for concern. If anything alarms your about the pregnancy though, check it out with your doctor. Best of luck
