Super early symptoms...

Re: Super early symptoms...

  • I've been experiencing motion sickness if we are in the car for an extended period of time but I haven't gotten sick yet. And I woke up this morning with a lot of cramping on my left side. Also starting to smell things a lot stronger than normal. Currently 5 1/2 weeks...
  • I'm waking up every morning drenched in sweat, so there's that

  • Super exhausted, nipples sore and I already have bumps on my areolas, vivid dreams, thirsty, SUPER gassy and constipated, bloated. Also, my hands and forearms fall asleep at night.

No nausea yet, though, so I'm counting my blessings!

  • Heightened sense of smell, sore boobs (especially nipples), heartburn and today the nausea started. Yippee! So frickin' worth it though.

Hey Everyone!!! :) Just found out about an hour ago, so I'm a total newbie. Yes! I posted on a feed about a week ago saying I was really sick which was weird because i just came back from florida and I wasn't around anyone sick. Im a nursing student and normally have a good immune system. I posted my symptoms and asked if anyone had the same kind of experience because my sister's best friend got really ill before she found out and i was having the same symptoms. But of course I was like, it could totally be a bad cold and of course knew that I had to go to the doctors to get checked out. But after a trip to the doctors and some medicine, I got better but still stayed stuffy and tired all the time. and this "cold" just felt off and different. I took a test today while my husband was at work and it was positive, two tests in a row. Now I can't sleep because i haven't told him yet! Wish me luck!
  • I have been a little "off" lately. Crampy, but my period never came. Burpy, but not nauseous. Nipples very sore and breasts just hurt. Also very tired at work even though I have been sleeping well.

I am a nurse, good luck with school. I know how awful it can be! I also tested late yesterday and am a total newbie!

I thought I was losing my mind - I've been waking up throughout the night and my hands and arms have both been asleep and tingly!  I'm glad I'm not the only one.  It's so bizarre - and is not something I've ever experienced before.

It sometimes helps to sleep with my arms above my head, but this morning a couple of my toes fell asleep! Not sure what I can do about that one, haha.

  • Soooooo fatigued, starving all the time, enormous boobs (need new bras), dizzy spells, heartburn, heart rate so high I'm winded going up and down stairs. Nausea hasn't started yet but I feel it's on it's way. It's reassuring to see everyone else posting similar stuff and to know I'm not alone!

Do you sleep on your left side? That is supposed to be the optimum sleep position for the best blood flow during pregnancy.

I'm not sure if it would make a difference this early on, but it's worth a shot!

Yes, I usually start there... Though I of course sometimes roll over in the night. I think it might be an early sign of pregnancy carpal tunnel.

  • Well my DH says he knew first. He noticed my boobs got bigger/fuller 2 weeks ago. What started to tip me off was being tired in the afternoon and then Tuesday my lower back just ached. I decided that next morning I'd take a test because it all seemed odd to me. What do you know I got a BFP Wednesday morning. Took one about 3 hrs later and still a BFP. I am so excited for us all. I'm 4 weeks today.
  • I am five weeks today and I'm totally exhausted everyday. I have been going to bed super super early. I also have crazy back pain, I'm bloated, gassy, and cramping. I am sweating it up in the middle of the night. My poor husband is sad because I can't even handle being cuddled anymore at night. I also have had the funniest and scariest dreams and sore boobs. I'm glad I see others are having these symptoms because the cramping really scared me! Excited to have others in the same boat!
  • @Mbateman10 I'm exactly the same as you. 5wk1day. All the same symptoms. I'm cold before going to bed then wake up sweating. Is this your first? It's my first. Thankful for these groups to relate to others. Symptoms aren't crazy yet but really nervous for when the MS finally really comes.
  • Glad I'm not the only one feeling early symptoms! I'm really tired and my boobs hurt like heck, which isn't normal for me. Intermittent nausea has started over the past couple of days. Not like I feel like I'm going to throw up, but that I could just gag at any moment. I just started feeling some action in my lower abdomen today, but I'm not sure if it is bowel or uterus at this point.

  • 5 weeks 1 day. So far mostly feeling fatigued, occasional sore boobs, thirsty, and having crazy vivid dreams! I'm a 6th grade teacher and I definitely noticed a heightened sense of smell... Not good with stinky kids coming in from recess. No nausea so far, though!
  • Happy Labor Day Weekend May 2016 Mamas!

At 6 weeks my symptoms seem to be in full gear. Nauseas all the time (no vomit yet, praying it stays that way), exhausted, peeing every hour, hungry all the time, quick to cry. I've found that crystallized ginger helps tremendously with nausea. Also, Sea Bands! I drove 4 hours yesterday and couldn't have done it without them.

  • I had sore breasts last week (4) but this week they aren't as bad, I am lucky I have no real symptoms yet. This is my first so I don't know what to expect.
  • I'm also a nursing student in my last semester :)
  • Unfortunately for me nausea came in full force. It's stuck around for the past few days... Actually how I decided to test. Someone on my team was sick last week so honestly I thought it was that, but even considering for me nausea is unusual. Going by Whole Foods later and maybe picking up some ginger candy to try.

I've also had cramping. Not like AF but like a pulling type of cramping. Heartburn like crazy, but that is most likely just my diet the past few days. Slightly sore boobs, mostly just feel bigger but nothing major.
  • Yes! I had to make a four hour drive for a work meeting and got there about 45 minutes early. I was SO. TIRED. I reclined my seat and passed out hard for a half hour. I may or may not have snored.
  • Yesterday I got a cold! I feel awful. I woke up this morning with lower back pain. No sore boobs but I also have hot flashes like some of you. I get so hot at night I can't sleep. My DH calls me a hot pocket haha. I'm still just happy no MS. Really really hate throwing up its the worst thing like ever!
  • I am 5w3d. Have had super sore boobs and nipples since before missed period. Was super bloated and gassy but that has eased itself a bit. I feel like I have to get up to pee every 30 minutes. At times I can't stop eating, other times nothing sounds appetizing. Have had a few emotional moments but I lost my grandfather about 3 weeks ago so that adds to it. Sore lower back and short of breath at times. Thank God not feeling sick to my stomach yet, but I know it's still early.
  • Yes I'm 4weeks along and that has been my main symptom .... Complete exhaustion. Hits hard around 2pm. If I stay awake past 3:30 I'm usually good for the rest of the day
  • Hello!

I'm 5 weeks today. So far I've felt:

    Sore breasts/nipples
    Exhaustion
    Gas/Bloating
    Feeling a bit nauseous
    Definitely more emotional lol

I've only thrown up once, but whatever I eat or drink feels like it's going to come up. Eek!
  • Hi May 2016 Mommys! I am at 5 weeks and my symptoms are in full swing. This is my first so I was surprised to already have so many. So far I'm exhausted all day with lower back pain and cramping (any advice for teachers on their feet all day?!) I am hungry all the time, I pee all the time where it feels like I just sit down and have to go again! Also I had big boobs to begin with but had to already buy new bras and new pants and my doctor told me I just might be an early shower. No MS yet but waiting for it bc there's no way I'll be lucky enough to surpass it. Congrats to everybody! :)
  • Just short of 6 weeks and I just had some extremely strange things happen last night. FTM here so maybe it's normal... At 1am I Got up to pee and felt dizzy. Not the same dizzy spells I have been getting. This was more on par with getting plastered drunk with the room spinning. When I got up later I almost fell over and started sweating. I thought I was going to be sick so I ran off to the bathroom but nothing happened except i broke out in severe cold sweats and thought I was going to pass out from all the spinning. I still don't feel quite right 12 hours later.

Anyone experience this room-spinny, cold sweat, clammy, nausea to the point of tears? Maybe I'm just a wuss and this is normal. No clue.

  • I just found out, and it was an early test too. Edd 5/19 (3 weeks)
Ive have so many weird symptoms!
1)classic breast tenderness, it is bad but couldnt decide if it was after ovulation tenderness.
2)burping a lot....this one is what got me thinking I could be pg. Very airy small burps. Even when I drink water.
    3) heartburn, although I go through spells of heartburn
    4) leg pain, I have an autoimmune so thought I was going though a flare.
    5) tiredness (same as above)
    6) stuffy nose, feels swollen
    7) craving chocolate milk
    8) I do have mild cramping
    9) insomnia!
    10) just today I started peeing a little more
  • I have but one symptom, although it's driving me nuts! My breasts feel big and heavy. It's somewhat uncomfortable--especially when working out!!

I did feel this the other night. But not since. It sucks!

I got my BFP on DPO 11. Prior to testing I was sleeping like ALL the time and I had horrible headaches every day for a week. Also, I was pretty irritable and my back hurt but that was also a PMS sign for me. I also had dizzy spells on and off from 6 DPO and I had a horrible metallic taste in my mouth from 4DPO-6DPO.

Now this next one may sound weird. I was wrestling with my dog and he kind of stepped on my lower belly and something just didn't feel right. Almost like a hollow feeling. For some reason that stood out and I tested 2 days later. Needless to say....no more wrestling.

Starting DPO 12/13 I am burpy...like tiny baby burps every time I eat or drink anything. I can only sleep 2-3 hours at a time at night and wake up full of energy. I have heart burn every night. And I'm super bloated.

    Thank GOD no morning sickness!!
  • I really had no symptoms before the 8 bfps I got this weekend. But since yesterday and the first batch I've peed a million times, sooooo thirsty, and my back hurts. I also have no appetite.

  • At 6 weeks I'm feeling pretty good - only nauseous in the AM when I take my prenatal (keep forgetting to take it at night..), sore boobs, but mainly nipples. Have moments of dizziness, and I find myself getting irritated easily. Like some others have said, I'm hoping more symptoms kick in soon so I have some signs of really feeling pregnant, but have my first appt on Sept 9. This is my first so not knowing what all to expect!
  • Cue emotions.
All the things make me cry.

  • Cramping, occasionally slightly nauseous, and I cried today picking a doctor bc I thought if I didn't pick the right one I was already off to a horrible start as a mom. DH kinda just stood there not knowing what to do and that kinda made that worse.

I'm not very far along but I am having super sore boobs, fatigue (though why am I still up???), a super heightened sense of smell and my curry tonight has not sat well with me. I dread to think what it will be like in a few weeks!

ETA I also have to pee every 3 seconds I swear. :)
