Formula baby crying when pooping?

Almost every time my girl cries when she poops. She's on half prosobee half gentlease and doesn't seem to have an upset stomach just cries when she poops. Her stools are normal and not hard or anything. Does she just hate pooping? Anyone else have this issue?

Is there a reason she's on 50/50. I know prosobee gave my lo constipation & gentlease made them too loose so she would scream bloody murder. Now on gerber good start gentle normal poos & no screaming. She does fuss some but it's more she doesn't like a dirty diaper.

It's because she was constipated on prosobee alone and my friend does the same with her baby. It made her way less fussy during the day and she doesn't seem to be in pain but cries when she poops

My LO only cries after he poops bc he doesn't like sitting in a dirty diaper and I don't blame him.

I've tried good start gentle and now trying the enfamil gentler see and LO strains when he poops. Red face and all. And he seems to have an upset tummy bc he will cry shortly before pooping on both.

Yes! My baby cries when she passes gas, poops and before / during burps. She just hates it all! She has so I assume it's bc it hurts her coming out, but I try to explain to her (ha) that it actually should feel like a big relief!

My DD was doing that. Doctor said they need to learn how poop. We started using gas drops which helped. We eventually switched from generic Similac advantage to sensitive and she's doing much better.

My daughter has the same problem! We switched from similac advanced to sensitive, and that didn't do a damn thing. So we are now on day three of gerber good start soothe, and things still haven't improved much. We went to the doctor Today and she said it sounds like it could be the beginning of colic she recommended using gerber sooth colic drops.... probiotics to add to her formula that are supposed to help make digestion easier. We gave her the first dose today, so we will see if that makes a difference. Apparently some people say it was like a whole new baby after they started the drops. I hope I get to meet my baby soon that isn't constantly crying and fussing! I'm ready for a happy baby!!!!!!!

Yes my daughter cries just abt everytime she poops. Poor little poopers I'm using good start Gerber gentle. & shes also pretty gassy a lot of the time. I'm guessing its from the formula. I just hope she's not in any pain when she does poop.

My bf baby fusses when he poops too.

I only BF but my 6 week old son cries hysterically before and during pooping and passing gas and then is calm right after. I went to a GI specialist who said it sounded like colic and has me giving him Gerber Soothe colic drops. He also has me off dairy to see if my son has a milk protein allergy which can also include soy.

In my sons case it was milk allergy. We switched to nutramigen and it doesn't happen anymore

I'm ready too!! This sounds like my DD. We're now on the same formula too. I'm so desperate to find something that works! What's the name of the probiotics you give her? I'd like to try these. Thanks!

So if you switch to soy, there's a possibility that they could have the same issues? Switching to soy might be might next step. I've tried everything!
