I'm all nervous and stressed out (I know that's the worst thing when you are trying to get pregnant!) But what are your thoughts on this: I had sex on Thursday and Friday (days 10&11 of my cycle), I took my first ovulation test Saturday afternoon which was positive, but I did not have sex on Saturday. I had sex on Sunday morning, and got another positive ovulation test Sunday afternoon. Do you think not having sex Saturday decreased my Janice's of conceiving? From what I have read it's the first ovulation test that counts. Once you receive a positive you are likely to ovulate 12-36hrs afterwards. I am just wondering that because I received 2 consecutive positive results, could I have ovulated or gotten an LH surge prior to Saturday's test? And if so, could we have missed our tiny window of opportunity?

Sorry had to do it.. such a great typo
Opks can't tell you when you ovulate. They can only tell you when you have an LH surge which may lead to ovulation. Sometimes ovulation can be the same day or sometimes it can be five days after the first positive OPK. Or the surge might not leave the ovulation at all.
If you don't know what the temperature shift is, buy a book called taking charge of your fertility, go to fertility friend.com, buy a thermometer and start Temping.

If hypothetically you O'd on Saturday, you had sex at -2 and -1. That works. If you O'd Sunday, -3, -2, 0. That works too. If you O'd Monday, -3 and -1. That also works.
Just remember that even with perfect timing there's a 20% chance of conceiving any given cycle.
Every other day during fertile window is fine.
